I was wanting to get a group together and go ride Potts Mtn. I've never been and my jku is stock. Anybody interested in getting together and going riding
I'm in Roanoke. I'm just looking for anywhere good to ride with a group. I'm new to the jeep thing and don't know anywhere to ride and I seen Potts Mtn but I've heard about shoe creek also.
I live in Lynchburg... not much going on here either. Pretty much a drive for everything. Have you looked around in Vinton or Moneta area? I used to spend a lot of time in the Roa area, and I remember those having some country areas
well hot damn im from roanoke as well, go to school at Jefferson near vinton, nothing in the moneta area for sure...doubt your jeep would make it up potts unless you went around a lot of stuff, my friends tj on 38s, and locked d60s struggles on a few things up Potts mountain, shoe creek is an awesome trial to learn when your new to off roading, stock jeep can make it just fine but can be really fun/tricky/hard if you make it that way..its on the boarder of nelson and amherst county bout 30 mins past lynchburg or so. there is also a good trail about 20 mins from Noke, stock jeep could make it its called Broad Run up 311 towards Craig county
Im in bedford stock tj. Let me know what you plan. This Saturday don't know if I will be available but if you want a little trail montvale has bobletts gap old fire trail I used to ride my quad up. Goes over the mountain to Buchannon
Hello, I am in Fredericksburg and hit shoe creek 3/4 times a year, great trail. Would love to meet up and ride some time. I usually camp out there after 1st creek crossing from bottom, great spot. I will post next time I head out to see if anyone wants to join. Have fun!
