I think I would be in for that, have you already signed up? I have been wanting to get in on one of these for a while now. I may have a buddy that would like to go too.

If the weather stays above 40~45 at night I will most likely camp out there as well.

I'm going to sign up today. Let me know if you sign up.

I think I'm just going to do the drive up in the morning.

There's a 201 course on 5/19 that I'm going to sign up after this 101.

The 101 is course is really really worth it.

The 201 is ok. Not great. It was good spending some time with Kyle in a small setting, but we didn't do anything really challenging. In their defense, they dont want to break anyone's jeep, but the things we did in 201 were pretty close to what we did in 101. The spotting portion was ok, but I think Dan and I had done pretty much all of that before.

On one note: Dan, remember when that rock cantilevered up and hit my undercarriage? Well it dented the hell out of my steering stabilizer. I think I might have to replace it. Serves me right for not relocating it.

Sweet thanks, I spoke to Kyle this morning. I'm going to take the 101 and see about the 201

The Rock didn't hit anything, it just poped up and we stopped you before hitting your axle. You cleared that trail real well. Me, I think I hit every rock. Other than that, I had problems with tree stumps. I think I hit every tree stump along the way. I have the A Switch on my clutch pop the engine light on the next day.

I'm installing an sPod this weekend, so maybe I'll get underneath and assess the damage. My skids are all bent, dented and orange.

BTW, the 101 is really a great class and teaches you things that you need to know. The 201 is great too, but most I already knew by then. We did a lot of blue trails in the 201.

Trina and I are doing the 101 the day of the show and shine, May 18th. We should have set the NVJA calendar earlier!

Yep, probably not going to camp, suppose to get down into the 30s the day before and after. Don't think I can sell that to my fiancé :-)

Had a blast today... great meeting goonie and others. Kyle was a great instructor.

Here are some quick pics and vids. I'm waiting for MTR to send me all the pictures/vids he took today.

Nice videos. The last one is broke.

Kyle is a great instructor. When we did the pond it was frozen over, so we went along the edge. See you got to go straight through it. Funnest class I ever took.

had fun! its great that there are tons of trails to explore next time we go back, hopefully they lift that burn ban soon so that if we camp we can have a fire to keep warm.... camping just isn't the same without a fire :-)
