It was a lot of fun! That last trail was awesome. We got back around 2315. Needless to say, I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow!

Here are clips from the afternoon. I have 45 GB of video. If I get a chance, I'll try and do a 10X of the driving.

Glad you guys had fun...really wish I could have made this trip. RC is awesome.

I ended up camping at the Cove Campground in Gore VA. 1.5 hours from Leesburg. That place was a blast.

They have 4WD trails but they were reserved for a Virginia 4WD association private event. I stuck my nose down a couple of trails. They left their articulation ramp out though so I gave it a try.

So I took the rims off yesterday to plasti dip them and go over my suspension to make sure everything was tight. Got to the driver side swaybar and noticed that the nut on the upper side was almost completely unthreaded. Scary to think if it would have come off at 70-80mph coming home from rausch!

Damn! My exhaust (I think) is now rattling against one of my skid plates...At least 2 of my wheels are all gauged/scratched up...My rear bumper where Denis backed me into the tree is scratched...And the area where one of front tow hooks connects is gauged/scratched up...I hate to see the underneath...

I should have my lift installed by this time next week...

Anyone else getting trail scars?

So we are both running the same thing, stock Rubi tires and an AEV 2.5" lift kit. I'm jumping to 35's once I regear.

I'm running 4.56s and 35" KM2s now. It's a very nice combo.

3.73s, also. I plan on doing a lot of deep snow wheeling with chains this coming year so I'm going with 4.88 or 5.13. I'll probably go with 4.88 though.

what wheels do you have with that? how many miles are you getting out of your KM2s?

I have stock rubi whls and tires now, and love the KM1s that come on it when im off road, but am worried about tread-life.

I've got 6400 miles on my KMs and I'm down to 17/32". Not sure if that's good, regular, or bad.

My JK Sport came with the less aggressive ATs. I bought a set of 17x7.5" OEM wheels on eBay so I mounted the ATs on them. Today I'll be taking my KMs off and putting the ATs on for summer wheeling. It's been my experience that ATs are sufficient just about anything in the GWNF.

I'm running 15x8 Black Rock Vipers in Tungsten with 35x12.5r15 KM2s. They have about 8k miles and look great.
