I am not too far from RVA...Far East end of Louisa Co. I took possession of my 14 anvil jk last Friday. It was factory ordered and my first Jeep. Jeeps are a little foreign to me as all I've driven previously were sports cars but happy with this rig as there is nothing like it on the road!

Hey y'all! Located in Richmond here. Looking forward to the WF community (JeepsUnlimited is pretty dead).

Anyone in town know about possible cracked head gaskets?!

Overheating..
Loss of coolant...
Coolant in engine oil....look for milky looking substance....
You can run a compression check to better diagnose it.

Gears should help for sure. I ordered mine with 3:73 figuring that I would put some 33's on at some point. Gears can be tricky..I don't touch them myself.

There's a place called shoe creek a bit west of Charlottesville.

Here's a helpful link:

As far as I know, shoe creek is the only one you can access year round. I believe the others are closed by the forestry dept.
