I am guilty of that myself. I naturally don't talk a lot and it seemed like everyone else knew each other already so I just kept to myself. Plus to be honest I've never been in a group larger than 4 vehicles before so I was a little nervous about jumping in with all of yall.

Despite keeping to myself mostly, I had a good time.

haha yeah I was just following the guy in front of me assuming he knew where he was going. Then had to play catch up when he stopped and said "You probably shouldn't have followed me, I'm leaving."

haha oh well, we caught back up

I took a few pics of everyones jeep if anyone wants them. But by chance did anyone get any pics of mine other then when we stopped to take pics were everyone backed up on that hill?

And once again it was nice to ride with everyone. And I hope to see everyone again.
I don't have any of you specifically but I can send you the ones I do have if you would like to have some more pics of the ride itself. If you want them, shoot me you email in a PM and we can exchange pics!

I figure the trip has already been and gone. Did anyone take good pictures? I'm new to the wheeling hobby but would like to try it out. I'm riding stock but sure like to try out some good trails. I live in Lynchburg for now.. I'm from Roanoke and I don't remember any trails from my childhood around there. If anyone is interested in trailing and camping I would like to join.

Yes it is open all year. At least the bottom entrance anyway. I'd be down to go again but probably can't for a few weeks anyway.

Yeah I did, I was risking it and it turned out okay! I tried not to do anything too crazy since if I broke anything it would have been a long walk home.

Shoe creek bottom entrance is about 2.5 hours from Richmond from south side (say 288 & 60) heading out 60 and NW after Buckingham in my 4 banger. Haven't gone 64W and then SW from about c-ville. If you go 60, stop and have breakfast at the Cumberland Diner.

Oh! Will need someone to volunteer to lead the group, as I have not done this entire trail! Have done the Crab Tree Falls Rd to the Meadows, but have not come in from the other end
