Ah okay. My newb-ness is coming in now because my dad was saying my skyjacker lift does not have a disconnect-able (Insert word here) to add flex?

If you look at your jeep from the front look at the bar that runs under the jeep cover on the bumper. If you follow it around its the piece that connects that to your axel

Been to Shoe Creek once with a group of friends. I loved it, great trails out there.
I live in NC so it's quite a drive for me

If you are willing to make the trip, head down to Uwharrie. It's a great place with 19 miles of great trail riding

Neither can I. I'm so stoked to finally hit some legal trails with fellow jeepers and having another girl is a major plus. We gotta out wheel the boys!

Even though I'm not going on this trip, I'd like to know a little bit about this trail. How tough is it? My deal is that I've got a good jeep, but no experience on anything more than a dirt road on a steep incline. I need to get out with some experienced jeepers, but because of life circumstances, I'm almost never available for any of these rides that I see posted. May 12th is a perfect example, since my family has plans for mother's day weekend. So, I'm wondering, if there are any beginner trails that I could go out on with a buddy (each of us in our own Jeeps, for recovery reasons), and just get the feel for some offroading. Obviously, I don't want to start heading down a trail that we could get killed on, but something that we could do safely.

Is this one of those, or is it one that you kind of need to have some experienced jeepers around to do it?

IMHO it's perfect to learn on with a buddy and common sense.
