Try looking at one of the online realview map links like bing maps. I find trails in my area that way. Like an online helicoptor looking for potential trails to try.

Go here:
Bing Maps - Driving Directions, Traffic and Road Conditions

Zoom in on area your looking around - select "Birds Eye View" and move map around like a helicoptor flying around. I've found a few trails in my area this way.
Now sometimes I'd get to that area and find it "gated" but most times I find places easy to get into.

Let me\us know if it helps you ok?

I'm going to post a link showing an area off one of my main roads for an example of how it helped me find one area:

Click and zoom in on "B" and choose Aeiral or Birds Eye to see the fun riding I found from my city.

Virginia Off Road on Google Maps

Do some research and make sure the trails are open!
Most normally are, but these are added by anyone.
