So I recently put smittybilt xrc tube fenders on my jeep and to make my jeep somewhat road legal, I zip tied my turn signals into the warn symbol on my front bumper and I kinda like the look, (will eventually get new lights to put there and ditch the zip ties.) My question is, is that legal?
I don't really get the question... sounds like you know they must be permanently attached, not ziptied.

§ 46.2-1039. Requirements of turn signals; regulations.
"Every turn signal used to give a signal of intention to turn a vehicle shall be so constructed and so installed as to give a signal plainly visible in clear weather and under normal traffic conditions from a distance of at least 100 feet to the rear and 100 feet to the front of the vehicle..."
Oh yeah, TJs have no directionals on the grill. Just keep your bases covered according to the code there.
