I'm a little late to this thread but I am in Petersburg. Very close to Richmond. I have been looking for people to trail ride with that are close and someone to wrench on the Jeep with. Hit me up if you're close!

Not too many choices around here. I used to go on the Conway river trail in Madison Co. but haven't been in years, same with Second Mtn outside of H-burg. There is usually an anual event in Crozet that has some pretty tough trails, it's private land, can't just show up anytime. Crabtree Falls/ Shoe Creek are places to go but again, I haven't been in a long time. Lastly, Misty Mtn campground has an anual event, I have been on the trails out there but not yet attend the event. I hope to make it next year, its close by atleast.

The trails are behind the campground. It's private property so I doubt you can just show up and run them. You can contact them for info. BTW I just found out that Conway river trails are closed.

We've this thread! Sure I'll run out there! PM me if you get any info but I doubt the land owner will agree, but it's worth a try.
