Where To Offroad In Southeastern VA

I am looking for areas in and around Va Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, or Suffolk.

Any help is appreciated!

You and me both brother. Came on here looking for the same info. Not sure if there are any good spots in Pungo but besides that it looks like we'll have to do some miles before finding worthy trails. Mt Ragg down near UVA isn't a bad spot, plus great place for mountain hiking. about a two and a half - three hour drive.

Do like I do, just hop on 64 and hit 60 mph Other than that I haven't seen anything in Va Beach, I go all over I do the schools fencing so I get everywhere, and all I've seen is one coming out onto Dam Neck Road as your going west down around Taylor Farms

I know where a off road path was on London Bridge Road in Va Beach until the city put up barrier signs to keep people out. and there was another place off DamNeck Road over just past PAAC, but they made us put bollards and a gate up on that one, but I can tell you from personal experience working for the city Va Beach outlaws any form of fun

Nothing in the areas you asked about is legal, the only other option would be to find someone who has a lot of private property that they would let you wheel on in return for you helping to keep it clean and landscaped.

So then you know that ALL fun is illegal here unless sits for tourism?

Unless its on private land, my boss has roughly 60 acres out past creeds where he lives, and I told him that he'd be a millionaire if he converted the unused farmland into a 4X4 park, Bonnie Bright could dump all his rocks there, and dig a mud hole and we'd all have a blast at say...........$5 a pop

VA Beach is a tourist scam, over priced, way too crowded, crappy traffic and they fine you for everything to include cursing in public.

If your boss opened that land I bet he would make a shit ton of cash. There are lots of Jeepers in the Hampton Roads, Newport News, Chesapeake, Suffolk and even VA Beach area that would pay to wheel there for sure. I know I would and I know I would pay more then $5.00 a pop to go. I bet he could get as much as $40 a vehicle per day or even sell season passes.

You must convince him, use a jedi mind tick or something, make it happen.

I'm under the impression you guys have been here before. ya wanna know how deep teh rip off scam goes? I work for the city doing fence and anything outside on all 92 school owned sites except mowing the grass, with one other person as only an assistant to me I do fence, playground inspection and repairs (Yes I am a CPSI) ALL sporting equipment repair, benches, bleachers, stadiums and every single thing that is above ground. the truck I had 3 years ago was redlined by the garage and sold as scrap, it was supposed to be replaced when it was taken, I was Promised a new truck to do my job with, but since then I have been assigned 6 pos trucks that were either wore out of mechanically deficient, I used to be a ST inspector when I worked at Tread Quarters 10 years ago so I know a little about vehicle safety, and out of all the used trucks I have had NONE of them have been safe to drive on the road, and I operate them around your children, how do ya like that? Because of the way they treat my crew I have a rule for anybody who works with us NO vehicle will move or even be started unless there are no children within 75' in ANY direction. I have been told so many times my truck is on its way or at the garage, that I told out operations coordinator he is a dam liar right in front of the director.

Oh, and btw Beach Street USA is NOT an street sign, its a money grabbing scam the city put up to attract military and visitors.
