I guess this is a pretty standard invitation. I wanted to make it with danrb but the short notice kinda got the best of me. I would really like to get my girl out with me on this one. This will be my first time offroading so anyone with experience that can help me out would be awesome. I guess the details will be:

I would like to leave Alexandria around 6 or 7. I am not sure how long it takes to complete the trail, but any suggestions to accommodate the most amount of people would be great.

Hey d, we are going out to flagpole on the 9th (which is much easier if you would rather do that).

Reaper,

What would make that much easier? Asking just out of curiosity. I would definitely like to get out with a group so I don't slow down just one other person. haha

Flagpole is a much easier place to go offroading for the first time. Not to mention its about an hour closer than rausch creek. Don't worry about slowing anyone down, we all enjoy going out and helping new guys out!

The Wednesday or Thursday before I will put out a travel and trail plan. It will have the times and plans in it. Also I will be starting a new thread on it soon.

Reaper, I'd like to go as well. Probably bring my 18 year old and let him drive some.

Dennis,

This is a pretty good trip, the view is great and the trail is fun. It would be a great first trip to start out on.

You know watching that video, the last puddle we went through was right at the limit. It was at my hood level, so we were within an inch of drowning our Jeeps. We definitely need to get with Glenn to install the breathing extensions in our jeeps. Also, I think I got air in my brake lines from being at an extreme angle for so long. Brakes are kinda mushy.
