If you're an Alice In Chains fan, check out the Jerry Cantrell "Rampage." That's a pretty nice axe!

...Or if you want something really special, hit www.warmoth.com. Tons of builds to choose from and their stuff is super-high quality!

Also, dunno how particular you are, but if you want a very nice, high quality, American custom, you can build one up at www.carvin.com. Their guitars are to die for!

I'm entertaining the idea of either building a seven-string, baritone, Flying V using Warmoth parts or a Carvin V220.

I have moved myself and a few things, not everything, but this is my new home. Not going to make any promises, but I may show up tonight.

Hey man, new place, new people. You should try and make it out and give yourself a needed break! Moving's tough!

The wife and I are definitely coming up next weekend. We are doing Xmas with my parents since I had to work this past Xmas. Don't know if we will be able to swing by for a jam or whatever. You're more than welcome to come up to my folks place and jam out there.

The time I come up after that will be to put on my lift. Hopefully I will be ordering it soon. Have my heart set on the AEV and will get the geo correction brackets at the same time.

And FYI I got my guitar and amp down from the attic this afternoon and jammed by myself for over an hour. That thing sounds awesome man. It's an epiphone les Paul prophecy. Costed about a grand a few years ago but now they're only $600. I just love turning the distortion all the way up and strumming power chords and palm muting making up my own riffs lol. I'm a little rusty on the electric though...not as fast on the higher frets as I once was. Maybe we could record a song or two one day.

It's always nice to come back to it after a while and just rock out. My Xmas really sucked. I was sick for Xmas and spent my New Years trying taking care of my sick cat.

Well, if ya have time, lemme know, if not, that's cool. You're down to spend time with family, I know how that goes!

We will get together sooner or later. Maybe when I come up to put my lift on u can swing by and check it out since you'll be installing the same on yours. I'm contemplating on putting the lift on now and waiting till I can save the cash for the wheels and tires or just waiting to put the lift on till I have the wheels and tires. That thing will probably look silly with that lift and those tiny 225 tires...

I'm not going to do mine myself. I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm not going to learn on a $35,000 vehicle.

Will has the Rock Krawler 2.5" lift on his and I saw it the other night. It didn't look silly at all. I was expecting it to look like it was sitting on rollerskate wheels but it didn't.

But yeah, we'll get together and jam out sometime. I'm kicking around the idea of throwing a BBQ or something when it gets a little warmer.

Do you have a shop picked out to install a lift? Just curious what it costs to have a shop install it.

I'm gonna have the dealer do it. They have an account with Quadratec so they may get high-volume discounts. The dealer told me they'd do a Rough Country lift (including parts and install) for about $600. I want the AEV so it may be more expensive.

The dealer did urge me to go with Rough Country. They said they were good lifts and haven't had trouble with any of the ones they've installed.

Wow, after hearing that, I may have to consult with the dealer here about a lift. The warranty would stay the same if they install it too wouldn't it? Seems like a good idea. Do you have wheels and tires picked out yet?

Even though they install the lift, they aren't required to warrant it; that would be the responsibility of the lift manufacturer. The dealer will guarantee their work.

I haven't picked out wheels or tires but you can bet I'll be going with American-made ones!

Yeah, gotta go American-made!

I just got my first issue of "JP Magazine" and went on this catalog-ordering binge from every company advertising in it who makes their stuff in the USA. I think I must've submitted something like 10 catalog requests to various companies.

Gonna take me a while to find the list of all the catalogs I ordered, but I'll go ahead and post it as soon as I thumb through the mag and find'em all (again)...

Sweet! Thanks bro! I'm on my iPad or iPhone 95% of the time too on the forum and believe it or not, it's a little easier on those than the computer. I've been wanting a set I those floor mats from quadratec.
