Good luck on the install. Pretty straight forward with the IRO kits.

Come to Southeast Kansas. It's far from flat. Especially at Ks Rocks Park in Bourbon County.

I've been in Colorado...Kentucky, and from Missouri....Southeast KS is flat. KS rocks is ok....to much muddy area's most of the season though.

Welcome to the forum Kate.

I never said it was mountainous. It's not the Alps or the Andes -- obviously -- but much of Eastern Kansas has hills.

We get a fair amount of rain in SEK, so it can get muddy at KRRP. Some people love that. (Though I'm not one of them.) Best time to go (IMO) is late July or early August; that's usually the driest time.

Thanks for the welcome, Distorted. Do you still live in MO? What part(s) of CO do you like?

Yes and no. I am a Missouri resident. But I'm stationed in KS.

Western CO is awesome, beautiful. CO springs is pretty cool also.

Is there anywhere other than Power Drive in Wichita to get a drive shaft shortened and one lengthened?

Shoot Mr. Clifford a PM. He knows a place or two. I asked him the other day...but I forget things quick. Shiny things distract me.

PD is probably the only one in Wichita. I called and this was their pricing:
$30 to shorten
$50 to lengthen + .79 per inch on DOM (very high)
$35 to balance

Me: who setup the gears
Seller: they were professionally setup
Me: great!

2 weeks later

Me: M F'er. They were setup with no pinion preload so the pinion had walked on the ring gear causing me to throw stuff and spew profanity. Guess I'll run it until I either can't stand the noise or break it.

::end rant::

On the lighter side, I needed a part for an older ox locker... a couple phone calls later, one of the original partners for ox had one on the way to my door step free of charge. Crazy nice guy!

Both are perfectly clear. Its the town roads that got it. But most are all cleared off.

Looks like you need to extend your rear links a bit and push your rear tires back some... That tire looks to be pretty far forward in the opening, but its hard to tell without the lower quarter bit on.

nah its about right in there, i have an inch-inch and a half maybe two inches but thats plenty of room. where i should be concerned is behind the tire since when it flexes it goes up and back

Hey guys, been looking around for axles. Looked on craigslist and found one guy that I can get an 8.8 with TJ brackets and 4.88 gears for $1,000 and talked to another guy that I could get both a Front Dana 44, and a rear Dana 60 for $450 bucks but they are full width and I would need to weld on brackets. What do you guys think I should do??

Does anyone out there have or know someone that has an RTI ramp? Looking to have a Jamboree in September in Salina. Looking for one to ad to the party?
