Kansas folk, post your junk!

Thought I'd add some more to this forum since we now have more than 2 active members from Kansas. So post up your junk for all to see. If anyone is around Wichita and would like to wheel some hard stuff just let me know.

This is my wifes jeep. 00 Sport. 4.0, 3550, NP231(SYE) with a custom 4" lift with JKS stuff everywhere and 35" toyos.

And my junk. 99 wrangler a couple of bolt ons.

Well the more appropriate question would be what aren't my plans.

Anyways, I will be starting to reassemble the jeep this weekend. I just ordered the Energy Suspension spring bushings so they should be here friday. Daystar body mount bushings with built in 1" body lift will be ordered later tonight, as well as an Advance Adapters transmission mount. I need to get some gas for the mig and some new wire. I want to fab up a new crossmember for the tranny but we will see. I have finished going through the tranny and t-case. Both have been resealed and new gaskets plus a paint job(Caterpillar Yellow).

As you could see in the picture in my earlier post I just Herculined the frame. I have put the 350 up for sale but I am still planning on reassembling the jeep with the 350 so I can drive it for a bit till the engine sells. Once the 350 is sold I'll pick up a Cummins 4BT to swap in. I also want to put in between the 4BT and the SM465 an Advance Adapters Ranger Overdrive. I am going to put on some Bushwacker Cut-Out Flares and drop the tire size to a 37x12.50 Swamper SSR. I am also going to paint the body Caterpillar Yellow and put Cat badges right above the Jeep badges on both sides of the tub and a full size Caterpillar badge across the tailgate. The tail gate will get all the holes filled and I'll shave the recessed areas out so it is totally flat. I'm going to pick up distortedtj's new/old Ramsey 8000lb winch and plate since he doesn't need it anymore(lucky duck). I will fab up some bumpers similar to the Warn bumpers with recovery points. I'll either put in a D44 or 8.8 in the back with ARB front and rear. The front will stay D30 for a while and I'll put on a high steer bracket and a cable to engage the front end instead of the vacuum crap. Maybe later it will get upgraded to a D44.

Well I think that is most of it. I'm sure there is something I've forgotten but I'll remember it later. I hoping to have most, if not all, of this done in about a year and a half but we will see.

What do you think?

Chris

Me too. I was originally going to go with kind of a fire truck idea because its what I do, but I think I'll like the Cat idea better.

Ya you definitely need more lift. The ride does look sweet though and you sold me on the TrXus MT's.

I think I'll need to borrow your sawzall either tonight or tomorrow. The 6" cutout flares are going on the tub ASAP.

Well, I guess I'll post some of mine here, since I'll be here in Kansas for at least the next 6 months recovering from my injuries from Afghanistan. This is how she sits right now. However, I have a FT 3" lift, a 1" BL, and 33" MT Baja Claw Radials all sitting in the garage just begging to be installed. Unfortunately, I won't be able to install any of it for a bit due to not being able to put any weight on my leg......bummer. OK, enough of the pity party. I can't wait to check out the Tuttle Creek ORV park since I'm at Riley and pretty close.

And prior to PCSing from southern California before the bumper/winch....

I'll get a couple of shots of all the goodies sitting in the garage as soon as I can. Now that's some MOTIVATION to HEAL!!!!!

And here's an updated photo. Sorry it's a poser shot, the last time we went wheeling, the girlfriend was in charge of taking pics and she pretty much sucks at it. She'll need some training. Until then, here's the Jeep in full poser mode...

And my other ride, a 2007 Mustang GT. Nothing fancy. All stock for now Only has 8k miles. I never drive it. It sits in a heated garage.

And not to forget my baby......unfortunately this is an old photo. She's been slightly modded since this photo. Anyways, here's my baby.......

Yeah that homelink is pretty cool I got it in the WJ and play with the neibors garage door. I helped him install it.

Best part is I don't think he knows it's me yet.
