But, I only use my CB when I go wheelin.

Once the CB and whip are mounted, it doesn't take long to tune it.

Couple of minutes to tune. Couple of hours for install.

I had one of those for breakfast. And a bavarian creme filled donut. And a coke. I can actually hear myself getting fatter.

HAHA! I usually get the donut for breakfast and the 2 taquitos for $2 for lunch with all the "sides" (caramello bar, chips, coke, etc.).

Again not long to tune. Install will take a little. If you do pick up CB look at the Uniden 510 pro or the cobra 19. Both most of the time under or around $30 and great little radios. As for the coax/connectors/antenna...well you have my number. If you decide to go with a CB I'll run down with you and help you pick up what you need from the store in derby.

For the antenna/connectors/coax...other little items, usaully adds up to around $50.

Oh and welcome to the forum Onion.

I'll be in Derby this weekend. I'm bringing my truck since I'm picking up a rearend in Wichita. Don't know yet if I'm staying the whole weekend or just Friday night. Does anyone know if The Port has live music Friday night? We frequent that bar quite a bit when I'm down that way. Also, we hit up Mad Rocks in Derby quite a bit as well.

Oh and welcome to the forum Onion.
Sweet deal I'm going to see what I can find on Cheepbay... (considering a 75 wx) either way when I find one I'll give u a call to meet you at radio shack. Thanks for offering the help, and welcoming me to the forum.

as for external speakers, shouldn't i be able to hook up the CB to my stereo if I have a 3.5mm input? not really sure how the external speakers work.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've seen you a few times at that intersection and over by Harry/Webb. Conveniently....both happen to be QT locations! I'm looking a little different these days though. I was so happy to ditch that nasty looking top and blue sport sticker.

I had my.....uhhhh.....surgical procedure on Monday evening. I stopped taking the pain pills today. I'm walking a little stiff right now but so far so good. I'm probably going to be heading back to work tomorrow. Sitting on my arse for two days got old fast.
