I am leaning towards leaving it at home. On my way home from California we stopped with the jeep in Sedona, AZ. And the power steering pump had a little whine to it. When I went to the Big Meats run in March the pump was really pissed off. Now it is pissed off at idle. It is only a matter of time before the stock pump gives up the ghost.

The proper fix is an upgrade to PSC stuff. With their pump and their saginaw style box. But neither of those products are what I need for my stretch that is scheduled right after Tuttle. So I'm looking for something else to wheel.

I am headed to Missouri tomorrow to pick up another rubicon for a buddy of mine. So I'm probably going to steal it for something to wheel.

I was going to head up on Thursday with Andy, but all depends...Just got my knee cut up by the white coats yesterday. Should be all good by the trip but oh well I'm going anyway. . That and Andy hasn't gave me my axles yet.
Think I could get them in before Friday? On crutches.

So not sure if i'm heading up thursday or friday. We'll see.

Yeah...you want to put the axles in while I sit in a lawn chair with my broke ass leg drinking a beer?

I'm good just hanging out trying to do nothing so this damn leg heals up fast.

I can. What's it worth to ya?

I've been reading up on the locker mods. Looks like 2 wires for each pump. How can it be that simple??

Damn, if you're having an axle party, let me bring my 8.8 and some suspension mounts and we can get CRAZY!! Fire up the welder and I'll supply the adult beverages......

We can get Distorted to show those brackets his knee. I'm sure they will burn themselves in place.

I've found it is best to hold off on the adult beverages until after fabricating. Really kills my motivation.

AA can get it here tomorrow if you want to pay for it. You have a 5 speed and I have an auto so I can't measure the dshaft length. I haven't read about the differences. I can get you a power drive shaft or sell you mine if it will work. We need to install both axles and measure for length. PD has a 1 or 2 day turn around.

You will probably need some conversion joints. 1310/1330.

Roger, knew about the joints. Just didn't know if I needed a new front shaft or not. I still have the payment in a safe place. Just don't know if I will be able to install them until after the trip to Tuttle, due to maybe needing new shafts and welll.. my knee.

We can do the axle /payment swap when you need...no hurry.

I'm not in any hurry either. They are available whenever you want them.

I doubt you will need a new shaft. There is plenty of slip built into the front shaft as it sits. But we will check it out to be sure. If it needs to have some length cut out and a balance my cost on that is pretty cheap. If they have to shorten it you might think about having them install a new 1330 yoke so you don't have to worry about finding the odd ball 1310/1330 joint.

Summit Racing has the AA SYE for $260 and has fast free shipping ($12.95 "handling charge"). I've ordered from them twice and had stuff on my door in less than 48 hours.
