You've got cash, I've got a card. We can work something out if you need it.

You beat me to it. And your $210 trumps my $260

Highly recommend spending the cash up front to have your yoke changed out if you need to get your front shaft worked on, so you don't have to by a conversion joint... those little bastards are stupid expensive. I want to say they're about 3x the cost of a normal joint.

Also, PORC has a SYE for 170, which is the one I'm running... but they'll ship it to somewhere in Mexico most likely, the joker that does their shipping punched in some random zip code for mine and it ended up shipping to somewhere in Tennessee, was the day before it was scheduled for delivery before I caught it.

The 98 had 3 of those extra joints in that black box. I didn't realize how expensive they were or I would have kept them.

Since I know nothing of your jeep take that into account...

The front, if anything will need a combo joint, the length should be fine... I'm just not sure if the 44 uses a different joint than the 30, but is easy to figure out.

The rear, assuming your not lifting it any more, should be the same situation as the front, but if your going to do a SYE with it, then your going to have to have a new rear shaft made for it to your specs and get some adjustable rear uppers to set your pinion angle

Yep.. I knows...just have to heal...I'm broken right now. cant be doing any drivetrain swaps soon.

That and If I did do the swap before we leave it would just be the axles...Andy is getting the sye ordered for me but I don't know if I have the cash for custom shafts or adj/uppers at the moment.

Last I checked there were no statues at Tuttle. So I'm interested to see what you come up with.

No problem man, next time we'll have to do something I haven't done before. Keep me in mind when you do those axles if you don't do it before the Tuttle trip.

Made it up to Salina today and realized I forgot my sleeping bag. One of my buddies here is going to let me borrow his. I hope that's all I forgot. I had a nice time hauling all my junk up to my room because the parking lot is a long damn ways away from the building. The Jeep handled its first highway trip nicely though. Speeds up to 80mph with no issues and definitely has a preference for 75+ in 5th gear. A little chilly with no top and doors, but it wasn't terrible.

Still not sure if I have the best tire pressure either. Dropped all the way down to 22psi and still didn't get full contact according to a chalk test. I heard these MTZ's have a stiff sidewall but damn.

That is pretty low. I run 28/27 in my 33's and pretty common pressure is 28psi for 33's. 22psi just seems low for them.

Also if you need to barrow anything else just let us know and we can bring it up with us.

I was just looking at mine the other day. I've got 35inch Big Horns on 15x8s at 20 psi F&R and still have 1.5 inches on both sides of the tread that isn't touching. I thought about dropping them to 6psi for the week to break them in prior to this weekend.

Looks like it's going to have to be Saturday morning for me. The girlfriend just found out she has to work Friday night at the hospital. We'll plan on leaving EARLY Saturday morning so we can get set up at the campground before everyone wants to go to the ORV Park. I'm bummed. I wanted to get out there Friday evening.

No problem Just start a thread about when you'll be passing through KS. Hell I have a queen size air matress with your name on it if your passing through Wichita and want a free bed for the night.

I think we can manage some kind of get-together when you come rolling across the plains. I'll be living in Salina later this spring/early summer, so Distorted's offer of an air mattress also stands with me, although Wichita is only an hour and a half from Salina.
