I might be able to swing a Saturday day trip. I'll wait and drop it on the wife after the krawl this weekend.

That was easy.

X is probably where I will camp. There is tons of space and pretty good cover in the trees that will help break the wind. If any one else breaks wind they can stay at Y.

Y has the only showers I know of. I haven't ever camped on that side but all the green sections are open for camping. I can't remember camping fees since the last time I was there was at the Kansas Krawl in 2007.

Z is the local gas station/air pump/grocery store/crapper/ice cream place/hardware store/bait shop/local hang out. It sits right on highway 77 and 1st street. Their ice cream is good.

Directly across the street South of the crapper/ice cream place is a cafe style place to eat. I don't know their hours but the last time I was there they had ok food. I will probably pack enough water/food for the entire weekend.

There is only 1 motel in Randolph. It is called.... hang with me.... oh the suspense.... The Randolph Motel.

119 Front Street
Randolph, KS 66554-9190
(785) 293-5846

If you don't like to sleep with rats then camp. If you don't like to sleep with Distorted... you can hotel it in Manhattan. It is about 30 minutes South of Randolph. Pending our camp fires don't provide decent company and we can find someone(sober) to air us up and drive us there we can hit Aggie Ville and over pay for booze. But I'm positive between Tim, Forrest, and me we can light enough stuff on fire for entertainment purposes!

I'd take that bet. I bet you break before it. I'm gonna say you don't even make it to that ledge cause you gotta get through the rock garden to get there.

I hope you have an oil pan skid before you try. Cause I'm not helping winch you out for two hours like the last time I was there!

I'm in. Planning on camping Saturday night unless plans change. There is a chance I'll be staying in Manhattan with some friends Saturday night to see an old friend. Either way, I'll be there all day Saturday for some fun wheeling with you all....

How many winches are we going to have in the group? I know you've got one Tim, and so do I, so there's at least 2. I've got a couple of buddies that MIGHT meet us up there. They haven't committed yet.

Does anyone need anything that they don't have? As long as everyone has tow points, I think we'll be ok with straps and winches if we need them. If anyone needs something, post it up here and I'm sure between all of us, we can come up with something.

I think my wife and I are camping friday night, wheeling Saturday and driving home Saturday night. Where is everyone meeting to wheel and at what time? I have no idea what to bring, this being my first time. Are there trails that are ok for stock rubis that won't cause damage? This is my daily driver. No dog this time, per wife's request. Name is jeff by the way.

You guys will be fine. There are trails for every kind of Jeep under the sun at Tuttle. From stockers to trailer monsters, everyone will be happy. We're not planning on doing anything too crazy. I had planned on breaking my Jeep since I was going to trailer it, but now I'm driving it up there, so no breaking it.
