Hey guys, I've started reading about the 231/300 doubler and I'm pretty interested in it, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it, espescially with an sm465.
Has anyone got any experience with the 231/300 doubler? I'm pretty interested in this, but I want somemore info and opinions of it. Thanks in advance for any input.

What info do you want? You stick a 300 on a 231. Pretty simple concept.

are you talking about the box of rocks, or whatever its called? you only use the front of the 231, the planetary gears or something, i've only heard of it, never seen it.

What I was wanting to know was about performance. I was wondering if anyone was running this combo, and how they liked it.

You won't regret it. From the massive amounts of reading I did before purchasing the box4rocks nobody seemed to have problems. It is worth it in every aspect of rock crawling.

Yes you can still twin stick the 300. I bought mine straight from the vendor. What front axle do you have? I wouldn't just hop onto some front digs without beefing up some components. You will tear it apart.

Well I plan on installing this during my build along with full width d60's and a v8 and an sm 465, with a spring over and 39.5" irok's on a stretched wheel base. Probably a 104" but idk yet. Any suggestions?

Are you going to keep the Dana 300 as a passenger drop and run a Chevy 60 up front? I heard that's what all the cool kids are doing.
