I don't know why the pics are gone and I don't know if I still have them. I'll search them out, but I believe they are gone.

I can't find any more pictures. I can't take new pictures right now. My YJ has been in the shop for awhile and I won't get it back for a week or two. It's being painted among other things.

Ok, so I figured I'd bring this one back up. I have a similar problem. However, a little different. While in 2wd, the 4wd indicator on the dash is lit up. When I pull the stick back to 4wd, the light on the dash goes out. rrRR?

Ok I just got a 95 yj and the 4wd linkage was loose but even when loose or tight it still shifted into 4wd and out of it just fine but I have no dash indicators that tell me if I am in 4wd or 4lo? Am I facing another different problem or could it be the vaccum still. I will trace them tomorrow since it seems pretty straight forward.

My 4x4 light is always on... I decided to try it out so I went to the nearest trail and still couldn't tell if it was working cause my Jeep doesn't struggle in 2wd. I tried it in low range and is seemed ok, then went to take it out of low range and it was stuck. After a lot of force I finally got it out, but it seems like the 4x4 only works half the time.
