| 71 Jeep commando info needed
I jus got an email from a bud who is selling his commando. It had the 258 and is carbbed. He does not know which axles it has so I am turning to you all for some info. All I know is that it is a 71 with a 258 and a 3 speed. Any and all info would be appreciated on this.
Thx in advance

If no one here knows, (they might) you should check out IFSJA.org, a Full Size Jeep board, someone there will definitely know!

Cool,,,
I'm thinking it would prolly be a good buy if it has D44 in the rear alone. It does have lockout hubs in the front as well. Shoot he only wants 200 for it and it drives (not street legal tho)

Commandos are freakin awesome... Its worth $200 bucks if it were a rusted rolling chassis with no engine.

Yeah, some guy had 2 of them for sale near me awhile back, but they were all hacked up, multiple engine swaps, no idea what they were originally, real rough, and he still wanted a ton of $$ for them, he said one ran, but he couldn't start it right now, etc... kind of a shame.. Lots of potential.
