Axles?

So after reading around on this Jeep stuff, it seems there is a weak point in my Jeep. (probably more than one) I've got Dana 30 and 35 axles, both with ARB lockers, and I have 35" tires. Am I wrong here, or am I at risk of breaking an axle shaft when I have the locker engaged? I'm not looking to fix this immediately, but what are my options for upgrade? I won't be able to use the lockers out of my axles now either when I get other axles, right? That's why its gonna have to wait a little; with axles needs to come a lot more stuff, meaning a lot more money. Once again, I'm a Jeep rookie, so correct me when I'm wrong. Thanks guys.

you can install some stronger chromoly axle shaft and then the D35 should be strong enough. a friend has this setup with OX lockers and he never broke his axles.

I was thinking about strong axle shafts today, I'll look into it. I'm not sure which is the 35 and which is the 30. Are these the stock axles in my Jeep?

OK. So its probably an 8.8 from an Explorer? What modifications do you have to do to make it work? It'll be a while, I'll need to buy a locker and gears, plus the diff it self. Lots of money. Unless I find one someone already had in a Jeep, already locked and geared.

Thanks. It starts out clean, but dont you worry it doesnt stay that way for long.

Ohh HKDONJP, neither, I built it myself. It is kinda in between the PSC comp and trail stinger as far as length.

If and when I upgrade my rear axle, I'll let ya know. But I wanna keep it locked for now. And I talked to some guys at work and we don't really lengthen swingarms a whole lot any more; we can but it would be more expensive for you. Theres some shops on your coast that can do it, you looked into any of em?
