HD springs vs regular

whats the difference? i've been looking at replacing my stock leafs and keep seeing the option of HD leafs in the rear. how can i tell if what i have now is HD or not. are they interchangable? any info will help. thanks in advance

They are interchangeable. Regular springs just bounce your kidneys, HD's jar the hell out of everything. Count the leafs that will tell you. Depending on the mfg., they use more leafs or thicker leafs for HD.

thanks... how many or how thick should the regular ones be? i'm trying to figure out what i have on there now. and from the sound of it, i dont want to HD, i dont ever tow much with the jeep or put too much weight in the rear. couple hundred pounds every now and then at most ( hunting gear + my kill)

Is there any way you can post a pic of the stack? It would be a little easier to tell from there.
