Missing a gear?

I got this jeep not to long ago. 92 YJ. I recently found out it is supposed to be a 5 speed. I only have four. After the fourth gear the dash still signals for another shift, but I don't have it. I also tried to put in a new speedo cable as it does not have one. Well it does not fit into the transfer case. Could I have a different transfer case?

What should I do?

That's odd. Some trannies are marked and some aren't so those pics your getting should help some in figuring out whats up. There should be a tag on the back of the t-case that says what model it is. I also believe the 92yj should have a rather large hole and take a speed sensor with wires and not a cable. It sounds like someone has swapped out some parts already. Maybe you'll get lucky and its at atlas t-case. LOL
