spring over axle conversion???

I have an 87 wrangler with stock suspension. Im looking for a cheap way to lift it for the time being is SOA conversion a good idea? And what is a good conversion kit for it? thanks

Rough country... 2.5 or 4" lift kits... cheapest i have found on the market and not that bad at all..

Soa is definately not cheap. If u want cheap get aal or a body lift. As far as a cheap true lift kit look into the superlift 3.5.

SOA is definitely NOT cheap. You run into driveline problems that need to be corrected & steering problems. Not to mention axle wrap that comes with it. As Big Orange YJ said a nice body lift or an inexpensive 3 - 4 inch lift would be better.

Yes rough country does make a good lift kit. It is probably one of the most popular manufacturers among the yj group.

Their not bad. But you get what you pay for. The "cheaper" lifts tend to sag faster than say Rubicon Express or Skyjacker & the ride is a lot harsher.
