when you turn the key what happens does it stay stuck on the on position and never turn on? or does it make a clicking noise? did you make sure you did your adjustments on the ignition switch? it has a little room for adjustment . did you check your relay?

When you turn the key, the power comes on, you can turn it all the way to the on position. No clicking, nothing. I have the switch itself in the right place, where is the relay?

the startor relay is in the fuse box in the underneath the hood where the battery is best way to find out is by getting a voltmeter an check to see if your getting juice before the relay and after if your getting after than it could be your startor or if before your relay. you can also open your realy to see if theres any contact being made

Im going to just go pick up new relay, maybe that will help? Another thing, the ignition switch is on top of the steering, what is the little white box that's also connected to it. There is a rod that is supposed to push down a spring in it when you start it i guess?

If I remember correctly, the little white thing is the dimmer switch. You may have to adjust the ignition switch up or down so as to allow the key rod to reach all the contacts within the switch. After replacing my ignition switch I had to adjust for this. It would power everything but not the starter solenoid.

Good luck, Fred
