JPPower - That was in Appleton about a month ago. Nice little area. It has trails for all skill levels.

SnoPro - Thanks! I've had it for just over a month now. Just have a few more mods to do, and I'll be done for awhile.

Thanks!

snopro69: I ended up selling it already.

I've seen at least one other crush JKU around the metro but it has body color hard top and fenders... and a tiny woman with glasses who won't wave at me and looks at me like I am a crazy person. It could have been her on 77.

Crush is a great color though. I'd have gone with it if I'd gotten a 2012.

i am a new JK Owner.. I have about wrecked trying to wave at everyone.. Its funny because when I wave at a TJ owner they almost seem in shock. I guess I didnt know that JK had a bad wrap..

Either way if you see me.. I will be waving if possible

Hello fellow Minnesotans!

I joined this forum last month and figured I should check in with the locals.

Here's my WF New Member Check In post: Greetings!

I'm from the SE Metro area. My '04 TJ X is my daily drive. I picked it up a year ago, and was SO looking forward to playing in the snow last winter. What happened?!?
I had the top down the second week of March! I do have to admit I am (somewhat) enjoying this hot summer with the top down and the doors off.

I've been lurking around the forums for a little over 2 weeks and just now stumbled upon the Minnesota thread. Figured I'd stop in and say hi!

I live in Richfield and this is my very first Jeep. To be honest, I know very little about the off-roading life, as well as the ins and out of Wrangler modification, and I'd love to rub elbows with veteran Jeep owners and learn as much as possible over the years.

I've been very proactive in this "wave" I've read so much about but I rarely get a wave back. Could it just be these inner city folk? Are they clueless? I've been rolling around with the panels out above the driver and passenger seat and I've usually got a ballcap with a batman symbol on it (hard to miss) so if you see me, I'll be waving if I see you!

Haven't gotten the hardtop off yet, that will be my next project. Anyway, I look forward to meeting some of you at future meet and greets.

Hey there. I am new to the jeep crowd as well, but try my darndest to wave at anyone. I work in Edina so drive down France daily. Sometimes not in my jeep but my other car which is funny cuz i still wave at jeeps in that too. I too look forward to learning more about the jeep and what i can do to it and with it. I ordered some truck-lites and will install them myself when i get them so that will be my first actual upgrade to the jeep i have done myself.. well that and attached my yakima rack to the wheel lol

Hey guys,

I wanted to let you know that we are planning a day trip to Appleton September 29th.
It is currently listed under the MN section of the "JK Forum". PM and I will send you a link! As I don't want to break any forum rules and post to another forum on here.

We could also try and setup a jeeps and coffee some weekend morning before then to shoot the bull if anyone is interested.

EDIT

There may be a whole new thread posted. I will keep you updated.

There is also talk of a JK fall colors run.

Hey Guys!

I just noticed the WF local page and thought I would say hi. My '13 JKUR is on order and should be here in a month and a half or so! Do any of you live close to Golden Valley?
