Ramble on and on thread

Figured I'd start a main thread that everyone can talk about what's going on or question and such

Increased my lift over the winter and ended up needing 1 inch longer DS. So I just sent in my Rear coast DS into Coast and unfortunately my jeep will be down for 1 week or more. Wouldn't ya know it the weather is super nice now!!! Damn!!!

Longer DS eh? that doesn't sound easy to do... which is probably why you sent it out.

Shit man I thought you could do anything in that awesome garage?!

I went up NW of Grand Marais this last weekend and rode some really cool trails. Nothing really extreme, I think most trails were moderate or less. I did climb up a 2300ft ridge/bluff/hill though. I'm not gonna guess what the incline was but it was pucker worthy for sure. Gotta be careful with the pedal on that one. Once we got to the top the trees opened up and you could see almost the entire Gunflint Lake. I probably could have thrown a rock in to Canada from there. Way across the lake, on top of another ridge was a JKU that was out riding. Gave 'em the wave.

We rode around for hours in the woods. Stopped and had a few beers near some lakes. Relaxing and exciting in the same day.

Almost all of the trails were marked and there was only a couple that did not allow Jeeps. Though we did end up taking a couple of un-marked trails/roads which ended up dumping us into more trails. Many GPS way points that day.

Of course I only realized afterwards that I had taken ZERO pictures. Sigh.

I never made it to Partridge Falls though.... next time.

Next one for sure. And I wanna join your Dakota trip next year too!

Have a good time!

Hey guys, Thought I post up here and give a out. We live in Clay Co, MN and i have a 98 TJ 4.0L Sport w/ 3" lift on 31's an ARB front bumper & Warn 8k winch. Oh tho I have not taken the TJ there yet we do most of our 4wheeleing and dirtbike riding at the Appleton OHV Park.

Here's a pic of how I bought it, came with full doors and hardtop. I'm waiting to sell one of our quads so i beef it up a bit.

And shortly after I bought it!

Quick lil blurb about me with the suggestion of Bruzr.
I am a new JK owner. Have had mine for a little over two weeks now.
2012 Wrangler Sport Soft Top 6speed only option was the AC

Have added Infinity BassLink, Polk DX650s, DynaMat & Poly Fill, Yakima SpareTime Bike Rack, Sahara Rims. Next up BestTop Tinted Windows and then tinting the fronts. I would LIKE to get a bumper put on but it may have to wait. I have been looking at the Rampage tubular one on Quadratec that integrates the factory fog lights. Also wanting to get the mirror relocation kit so I can rip off the doors.

I am a waver so if you see me waving wave back. If I didnt wave SORRY Sometimes I am in my own world

Thanks guys!
Joel.

ps I work in an optical shop so if you guys need glasses, come work with me and I can get you at sweet deal *grin

This "wave"... I finally had someone in a Wrangler wave back today. I had all the doors off so it was hard to miss. I've been waving at every Jeep I see (yeah, even the soccer moms), but most people never even notice. Is this just a Wrangler thing?

Some people are not real Jeep people. They just drive it cause they got a good deal. I wave to every Jeep. Shoot I passed one yesterday and both guys had their arms out the jeep waving. Of course I was waving back. I want to get my windows tinted up front. I got a new soft top a couple of months ago so the back windows are already tinted. I just ordered the trail dust cover last week. Should be in tomorrow!
