If you don't mind me asking... Why didn't you attend the U of I? Or had you moved BEFORE college?

I graduated 2 years ago from california state university Stanislaus with my BA. Am currently working as a case manager at a non profit working with high risk youth. Will most likely go back to grad school and do the ASW route

Interesting... Whats being a case manager like?? Do you plan on continuing working with adolescents in the future?

I currently work on a mental health unit (inpatient) - both adults and adolescents. I've thought about going for the LASW... I need to decide soon though, before I get even more unmotivated to go back... Hahaha!

Working with adolescents is rewarding at times and also frustrating at times. Not sure if I want to keep working with them in the future. As far as case management it's okay I do a lot of counseling and work closely with the clinicians in the mental health department of the company.

Agreed!! They can be a handful... But so can some adults... Sometimes worse than kids. Haha!

That's what I had imagined case management would be like... though I'd never spoken with a case manager about it before. It sounds interesting!

Lol. No. They don't. And it wasn't hard at all!!!!! I was just super slow and really careful... Yesterday I put a new orange light in my center console cause the huge green area threw it off.

It makes me feel... Left out, yet somewhat superior in the knowledge that I am going to get a degree in what I love instead of what I know not of.

Would it be possible that the information of which you do not know of can also be something you love?

What do you mean, No they don't?! I think they look good! Did you use orange in your dash? Or are your gauges just colored that way?
I'm glad to hear it wasn't hard! I was a little worried for you - though had no doubts you could do it.

Did you ever post a picture of your center console? I don't remember seeing any green LED lights, but I could've missed it.

Ok...Time for a lesson.

Dan Gable was born in Waterloo Iowa. Wrestled for ISU and coached for Iowa.

Cale "The Douche" Sanderson is from Heber City Utah. Wrestled for ISU and coached for ISU then defected to Pedophile State.

I'm a Hawkeye and love to watch Iowa beat ISU but I always cheer for ISU the rest of the season.

I go to ISU park in the east parking deck almost everyday if I don't ride the motorcycle. I drive the Black (or green if it's sunny lol) 2dr Rubicon. Been here for 3 years and graduating this spring.

Not if you're still there. I got one class left for ITEC. Trying to test out.

Grew up in Osceola. Job brought me down here 23 years ago. Always been a Hawkeye fan, but really impressed with the 'Clones this year. Should have beaten K State. I follow both teams here still when on local T.V. I always rooted for both, except when they play each other. I miss Saturdays listening to Jim Zable and Pete Taylor. Not at the same time of course, Jim broadcasting Iowa, and Pete Iowa State, or is it Moo U? Anyway, I see that Pete passed away, I was sorry to read that. He was a great sportscaster on channel 8. Of course if you folks are much younger, you may not have any idea what I am talking about. It's time to go back to the home now.

I knew Pete. He grew up with my older brother, Mike. His mother is still a dear family friend. Top notch people.

Outstanding. Thanks for your first hand account. When T.V and Radio personalities are genuine, it really comes through.
