Wrong side of the state, otherwise I'd offer to join you for my maiden voyage. I'm hoping MidwestJeepThing does another first timers thing at some point.

Any light trails around the St. Louis area? My jeep is stock for now but been wantin to try some off roading. I had a lot of places back in the early 90s to go with my other jeep but all those places are either closed or subdivisions now. Been gone from off roadin for a while but glad to be back.

No idea. I don't think I'll be touching trails for a few months while Big Brother Progressive is watching me for "hard braking" so I can save a hundred bucks. I think everything is West, West, West. The MidwestJeepThing folks might be able to help us out.

I went to the Intro to Off-roading last October. Sayersbrook Ranch is a great wheeling place, and my stock Rubi did fine. Everyone I met was very helpful.

Only $10, and you get lunch with that (ours was gigantic bison brats). I highly recommend it!

If you cannot make the intro wheeling day, join us for the March Madness on Saturday March 29. You can run the same trails as the intro class and a few more. There will be jeeps in all groups from mild to wild. A stock jeep will do the mild trails with no problems.
