There is a group heading out to Letz Go Nutz in Foley, MO on Sunday. I won't be able to get there until close to 1 or so.

Me and a buddy just bought Jeeps and took them out once to moon light off road. Is there any other places you all would recommend in the St Louis area?

Letz Go Nutz in Foley, MO (North of STL)
Washita in Farmington, MO (South of STL) - AWESOME!
St. Joe State Park near Farmington, MO (South of STL)
Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch SMORR near Springfield, MO (Southwest of STL)
Moonlight, which you obviously know of. There is a group from STL heading there next Sunday, the 19th.

St. Joe isn't great for Jeeps. Their trails are for ATVs. You can do some mudding and light crawling, but it's more of a big open expanse.

Washita was really amazing. I've only been there once (on Sunday actually) and the trails were awesome. Not very well marked though, and the map kind of sucks.

I've been to Letz Go Nutz once and got stuck within about 10 minutes. Spent the rest of the afternoon hand cranking it out with assistance from a few locals that happened to have a chain hoist handy. Rookie mistake going out alone, without proper recovery gear. I now have a winch, which I used on Sunday at Washita for a similar recovery.

Never been to Moonlight or SMORR. Hear good things about the latter though. It's just far away. Would really need to be a weekend trip.
