Alberta Wrangler Pentastar Issues?

How many Wranglers in Alberta with the Pentastar engine have had to have a head replaced?
How many out there with no issues? Mileage?
The 2 local dealerships say they have had no issues to date with this engine yet alone have had to replace a single head.
I've got 12,000km on mine and so far all ok.

No way! Old jeeps rule!! My TJ is built to go anywhere. and love my cj 5. The new jeeps are nice though. just can build a great jeep for half the price of a new one, and i can fix it all myself, not so much computer crap!

Ya gotta love what you drive, even if it's an old broken down swayback horse, like a TJ! That's all that counts.

Now at 13500kms. LOF, synthetic, 5 tire rotation, all still OK.

Just over 20,000kms, all ok. Received the extended warranty from Chrysler. I'm happy!

32,000kms

Not a single major issue yet, except for weatherstripping needed to be changed, and the front windsheild has a little crack in it....Engine needs a injector clean, based on my last oil change but will do it myself soon....160$ is a little pricey for me at the dealer!!

April 2013 production

I'm in the auto parts/ machine shop industry. I have had exactly one call on a 2011 Caravan with a bad head in a 3.6. ( we deal with independant garages and Chrysler dealers) Because of our climate, it definitely not a major problem in Canada. Nice that Chrysler extended the warranty though. Now, compare that to the GM 3.1 and 3.4 intake issues. Man, back in the day we couldn't keep the intake gaskets in stock. The running joke was "it's so cold this morning, you can hear the GM intakes pop"
