ok so i have been looking to join a jeep or 4x4 club in the madison area and i cant seem to find anything but 1 or 2. i contact them via: e-mail and i get no response. so if any one on the forums knows of any jeep or 4x4 club in the madison area that has meetings/get togethers and frequent trail rides i would like to join, thanks. also if there is anyone that would like to get together for a ride or a drink let me know! unk:
I just bought a 2000 Wrangler and am also looking for people for trail-riding and wrenching with. I had the same luck with the one local club I could find... maybe I'll just try to start my own. Maybe a local Facebook group? I see enough of them on the roads here, I'm surprised there's not something going yet.
i thought about starting my own aswell and if your up to it maby we can meet up, drink a beer (if you drink if not thats cool) and talk some ideas im up for anything all my buddies are up in waupaca and appleton area so im looking for new trail buddies!
OK I'm still interested. Who else would like to join.
-name - Anything is fine with me.
-homebase meeting spot - I'm on the west side, but can go anywhere too. Monday to Thursdays work best for me.
-facebook - I have an account but can start using it again.
-webpage - can anyone make a cool website.
-advertising on all possible forums - Let me know how I can help...
I'm pretty excited I'd love to have a Jeep club started in town.
Rather then reinvent the wheel, you might wanna check out Capital City 4X4 in Madison (Capital City 4x4). They were originally the Mad City Jeep Abusers Group (MCJAG). They are already up and running. Right in your own backyard too!

I'd like to see a Jeep wrangler club in Madison also. I've got 2 of them I'm always wrenching on. I'm rebuilding my 2008 unlimited after a front end collision and setting up my 2006 wrangler its got a 7.5 inch long arm kit, but have to invest in some 35 inch or bigger tires. I'm also part of the cap city 4x4.
what happened to yall, im origionally from hanover wi but the air force has me in las vegas for a while now. i love what you all are starting!! i think badger show be in the name somewhere tho.
You guys do any jeep rides or anything fun with the group? Just moved to Madison, and just bought a wrangler last week. I was looking for some back roads this weekend but wasn't too thrilled by anything...at least I have the winter snow to look forward to.
I've been lurking around here for a little while now and somehow I missed this. There is a meet and great with some WI people this Sunday if anyone is interested in coming. It'll be in Johnson creek at 3pm
