Haha, I know I'm not the biggest fan of Facebook either but its pretty much the easiest way to get people together, things move kinda slow elsewhere. You don't "have" to lol I'll keep it updated here as well

I am in Oshkosh as well and would love to get together, but Facebook? Really? I respectfully decline to engage via THAT forum. How about joining an existing group, or, start one for the Fox River Valley?

Like I had said, we can still set up events here as well, I'm not against joining another group but I've have not so great luck with other groups being that active, always open to suggestions and what not. A fox valley one would be a good idea, not as much driving for get together and stuff.

The only place I know of is Moose's 4x4 in Hartford. I do not have any personal experience with them, so I do not know what they all do or how well they do it. I do know that they have been around for over 20 years.

Thought I'd also throw in a quote post. My son and I are (re)building a 90 YJ that we picked up in Milwaukee this fall. We're about 20 miles east of Madison.

Someone was looking for 4x4 shops, there's a good one in Sun Prairie called J&L 4WD. We used to go there when I was in HS (many moons ago).

I look forward to getting this YJ on the road again. It's been in the garage all winter undergoing some pretty serious work. Should be fun.

Is the Facebook group up and running yet?

No it isn't quite yet, trying to come up with a clever name still, and trying to gain interest as well. If all goes as planned it should be up by the end of the week. Events and information will be posted on the facebook group and on here as well.

Just joined the WI Jeep Owners Club on FB. Let me know when you get the Wrangler group up and we'll join. Getting the YJ closer to being on the road. Going to Monstaline the tub this Sunday and then we can start putting the interior back together. Just the steering, brakes, and new tires and it can be driven! Then I'll have to paint the new windsheild frame, hard top, and doors, before it's 100% road worthy. Sometime this summer we'll paint the body, no hurry with that

Also I finally started a build thread in the YJ forum if anyone wants to see what we're doing to it. It's not up to date yet, but I've posted 3 entries so far.

Okay I finally got off my lazy butt and set up the Facebook page for those of you who are interested. Its called "N.E.W Jeeping Association" everyone is invited so invite your friends, family, pets, anyone that likes Jeeps or anything like that. Im gonna try to set up a meet sometime soon, if it EVER warms up or stops raining, any ideas for a meet spot you can post it on there or on here I'll make a page in the wisconsin section on wrangler forum as well for those who don't like facebook
