WOHVA Update February ‘14

Every month WOHVA provides our members and other motorized trail recreation advocates with this short synopsis of WOHVA’s efforts to assure that environmentally responsible OHV recreational opportunities are expanded here the Badger State.
The WOHVA Trail Coordinators are gearing up for the summer of 2014. John Lewins is leading the team again. John has a rundown of events and work days he will cover at the upcoming Spring Trails meeting. WOHVA GNTR Committee is working on a new incentive program for GNTR Trail Guides
The WOHVA Board of Directors will meet February 22 in Wrightstown, Wisconsin. The agenda, financial reports and minutes from all previous BOD Meetings are available on the WOHVA Web Site.
Several WOHVA members recently competed in the Extreme Offroaders Ice Races in Oshkosh and Neenah, WI. Eric Entringer, Michelle Tester and Marty Coopman, Dan and Laura Bergin, Jay Billmeyer, dominated a couple of the classes and took home several payouts. WOHVA Supporters from the Offroad Fraternity worked the finish line both weekends braving the cold and laughing at the danger while swinging the checkered flag for a total of 103 vehicle entries over the two weekend events. Extreme Offroaders is a long time supporting member club and uses a portion of the race proceeds to support WOHVA and WORVPI.
