Mt sugestion for what it's worth is to weld or rivet it from the back and just raptor that baby. Unless you are worried about the look of it then you probably should by a new hood and then raptor it...

I'm hoping to make the next outing. Looks like an awesome area to go off roading. Can't wait to get out there and meet everyone!

Hey guys just wanted to thank everyone that was involved in making the outing happen I had a great time and would love to do it again soon

BTW I'm Scott, MTUs passenger, I don't have a wrangler so I wasn't a member before but this is a fun group so I think I might still lurk around

Thanks again for a great weekend

Nice meeting you and Ed and everyone else. Looking forward to the next outing, hopefully you can get your Grand Cherokee put together for the next one..

Oh and I noticed on my rear driver side wheel has some serious gouges in them. Pretty sure I got them when I went through the tubes. Thank god for my Kevlar tires.

Lol! I seem to pop in on every picture lol.

Thanks to you all for making this what it was! A great big fun time for us all not only on the trail but sitting around the fire

Sounds like everyone went home with something they can look at to remind them of the badlands, I know my rockers are all scratched and the aluminum corners are peeled at the bottom from the tubes. Scary at first but now AWESOME!

Posting more pictures and videos now

Good pictures! I wish my camera phone had taken better quality. Looking back on the trip we had a really good weekend for wheeling. It could'nt had been better. I wish these pictures could show the steepness of some of these hills lol. That's pictures though.

Yeah like the first pic - inside the jeep we were hanging on for dear life, then seeing the pic, I'm like what the heck you wuse. Though, I guess you don't see the steep hill we were starting to go down.

lol - I think the third pic is the driveshaft repair

I'm not going to let there be any downtime for this... lol.

We will just keep posting this thread and making new sub threads for events and things..

Anyone wanna go to Redbird in Sept? I'm looking to have a either sub-annual Hoosiers event, or just an informal meet up and wheel?

So far thanks to Ryan (cobbrobinson) he has invited us to stay at his place to camp if we do this, since Redbird doesn't have camping. Of course, this privilege can be revoked by him and depends on the amount of us!

Post up

I would be up for Redbird. Although after last weekend I am thinking about turning my jeep into a mall crawler instead of rock crawler (

Yes but at least any fair haired damsels you pick up at the mall wouldn't have mud all over them

We had a blast. I came home and ordered a zone lift for it. Now looking to get 33's after the lift.

Aww Well I'll be at the Jamboree! If enough people want to go to that we can always do that as well. Just something to hang out and shoot the shit.
