It seems like most wheelers use Chanel 4 on the CB since we are all 4 x 4

Just another option

Yeah but then I have to find a place to mount it and stuff. I kind of like the clean look of my jeep. I may just get one of those hand held cb's then

Whatever you do will be great! CB's are a cool invention and can be discreetly placed. Either way, I have added you to the attending list

Everyone, we are at 14 people attending as of now! Should have a good turn out and it should be a GREAT time

I used the cobra 75wxst it mounts behind the dash and all you have is the microphone on the dash. I put mine behind the glove box. On the forum is a good article about this radio & instillation.

Just be sure to check the swr ( standing wave ratio) before you start using the cb

Make sure you have your coax cable, but any CB shop can tune it for you, many might do it for free, but if not maybe like 5 dollars?

I'd love to come help you out! Sounds like a great time, maybe if I get a little extra money soon. It looks about an 1 and a half drive for myself.

Well if somebody has a place set up for doing this I could drive to them, I only have hand tools and probably would have to buy a jack and some stands as well as some other stuff probably. Still trying to get my tool collection built up.

Flags are $19.50 at the badlands, you can make your own if you have a pole or CB and get a mesh orange flag at a hardware store, it has to be like 1' or 2' above the cab of the vehicle.

Also, if anyone wants to start thinking of Ideas for the Grill n' Chill after the first day of wheeling post up!

And I'd like to start compiling a list of items that everyone has that they will be bringing such as;
Winches
Tow Straps
Snatch Straps
Jacks
Tools (any)
OBA
any safety equipment
other recovery equipment.

If you can post some info up, and I'll add it to the FAQ thread! Thanks!

I have a winch, tow strap, (2) 2.75' HD pry bars, and hi-lift jack. also never leave home w/o craftsman wrench/socket set.

what's "OBA"? on-board air (compressor)? that I don't have.

Ok good list! Def things we may need! And yes, OBA. They have compressors for a price to use at the park but most likely we can just cruise into Attica to refill at a gas station or so. Its not a far drive, I know I'll be airing down! Its a world of difference!
