Whats going on Heilis, thanks for joining up over here! Lemme tally it up

Looks like 14 attending, 4 potential! But we are still 3 months away! It seems soooo far lol

Everyone, we will be cooking good ole hotdogs and burgers. Anyone have any "beef" with that?

im a bit of a wine fan myself, but mostly beer.

so i have a problem guys, my jeep has a 3 inch body lift and im wanting to take that off an put on a 1.25 body lift and a 3-4 inch suspention lift. so heres my problem. i dont have ANY of the hardware that came stock, (such as stock bolts to the radator, the body mounting bolt, and i have no idea how the stock 4wd shifting worked or what all im missing or mod'd in it, the shifting linkage and the steering.) so as you can see i have quite a problem on my hands WTF should u do??? do i need the stock if i get a 1.25 body lift and full suspenton?? figured i would ask my fellow indiana jeepers

The JKS 1.25" body lift should come with bolts for everything. Atleast I think so, and if not there is a Jeep shop down in Vincennes I could see if they could find all the bolts and pieces and sell them?

Your best bet would be to buy the JKS 1.25" BL and a 2.5" RC or some other brand lift. IMO 3-4" is too high, do you have a CV and SYE Elim? If so you'll need those for anything over 4" of lift. Personally I would buy 2.5" coils and buy other shocks, like fox or some other nice brand! You'll thank yourself

I put on a M.O.R.E 1" body lift and it came with ALL the hardware. Plus all the brackets for the T/C and the steering shaft also. A 1" MML is also a good idea at that time also if a tummy tuck is in your future.

I like Jack Daniels but I'll get my fill of it in July at the Northwoods JJ.

I understand what you mean. If you set it up for maybe 2.5" lift, 1.25" bl, you will be at your height but wayy better flex, and you can still tummy tuck later on and do all that fun stuff. See im going to try for 35's eventually with only 2.5" susp lift.

Haha nice, im not sure if the campsite allows alcohol and the quiet hour is like 1030 lol. But wine would be quiet as long as no one hits the whole bottle! Haha

somehow I'm not surprised you're down in Bloomington

if you're bringing "fine wines" would that mean they're from Oliver?
I miss Oliver...going there for the free tasting used to be my favorite Sunday hangover cure. Also little known fact - they are allowed by law to sell carry out bottles of wine on Sundays!

COLLEGE

I also got a freezer full o' venison that's gotta get ate. My girl doesn't like eating bambi much so I usually save it for group gatherings just such as this. Most of it's already cubed for kabobs. I'll bring some if there's interest, otherwise I'll keep my murder to myself.

Bring the whole freezer. Venison is the only meat.

Oh and 05, nope no lift on mine at all, stocker! Just have some clearance mods. Flex is still pretty good But the LCOG way is cheap(er) then buying expensive kits. But is also expensive for the armor, TT's and take alot of fabwork alot of times. But I love doing things different

Good flex is all in the eye of the beholder. a 4" kit will flex pretty well out of the box. But you can make a custom setup 2.5" lift flex even better. Lets just say you can make a 2.5" lift flex just as well as many of these $1,000+ lift kits now-a-days. It just take more ingenuity with a lower lift.

Oh and Millfire! Have fun! Make sure to tell those guys to come to our June 11-12 run

I am a wine maker myself but I do some promotional work for Oliver Winery, so yes I will bring a little of both. 

I'm thinking about joining in. I am curious about my tires though. I have BFGoodrich All Terrains and was wondering if I need to get mud terrain tires for the trails.

I would think you would be ok as long as It isn't too muddy and you got somewhat knobby tires. I plan on take some pro comps but the tread. Is getting pretty low on them

You should be fine on the tires you have. If the spring rains ever let up. 

Sounds good. My tires are still pretty new, and I didn't have any problems at all in the snow, but I know mud is a different animal. I hope the rains let up too. I like driving with the top off.
