Going to be working out in INDY

Ok well I'm not exactly moving to Indy but I will be working out there for at least 4 or 5 months. I'll be working at the Heritage Crystal Clean Plant out there. I'm from Chicago (maybe I shouldn't have said that) so it's not that big of a hike, but I will be staying out there and I will be bringing my TJ along with me. Was wondering if there was any fun spots that yous people know about around the area that I could hit with the Jeep to keep me occupied and out of the hotel room or maybe some Jeep clubs out that way that meet regularly that I could drop in on. Basically I'll just be looking for things to do other than sit and bum it out in the hotel while I'm out there and since I'll have my babe (TJ) along with me I figured I'd have a little fun.

All the dude wanted was his rug back.

I'm just a big, hairy, American winnin' machine!

The badlands aren't too far, and if your into hiking and whatnot you really need to check out Turkey Run State Park. There are a lot of great parks near Indy and a touch north into Westfield. I was sent that way for work once as well. I spend 13 months in Westfield, I really love that area.

Check out the thread for annual hoosiers, they meet in indy often enough. One of these days I need to come back down. I miss it.
