Getting the wheels and tires put on now, excuse the baby bimmer out there. So who's all interested in bad lands? I'll be going Saturday about lunch time with my pops, little brother has a karate promotion so we're heading out to Attica afterwards to test out the generals.

Here they are! Much wider than those stocks especially with the better offset. Idk if it's just a mental effect but the jeep feels much more planted to the ground with the wider stance. I am very happy.
I also believe it may have helped a tiny bit with the front rake considering the heavier spare.

I wish! I can't remember what the price difference was but I got these for only like 170 a piece so I jumped on it immediately. I am thinking of getting the machined spots on my wheels powder coated red to add some accent cause the red decal looks a little offball!

Last time i was at 4wheel parts a guy with rims like those had that done to match his orange jk. Looked sweet actually. Gives it a nice little accent.

Grant from Brownsburg. Just purchased my first, a 2004 TJ in yellow all stock. Already thinking about mods but really just wish I was off work so I could be driving it.

Welcome, Grant! Always nice to see another yellow Wrangler, and I grew up in Brownsburg, so double cheers.

Any light to moderate trails in NE Indiana?

There is Bundy Hill in MI close to Coldwater...it is about 90 minutes from Fort Wayne....if you want to start easy there is a "private" "Jeep Farm" that is having an event this weekend. It is just outside of South Whitley which is about 30 min. straight west of Fort Wayne.

They have events there at least once a month and are a good place to learn. A lot of slightly Modded Jeeps and some stockers...and also some extreme rigs that come on trailers.

IT is a "Family First" place to wheel. Kids are welcome, and "watched out for". No alcohol, and somewhat limited on hours. However there are 3 different clubs to do Meet and greet with that are usually there. It is also one of the sites for ODZ JEEP JAM in OCT.

Those same 3 clubs do runs/ rides to Bundy, Attica/ Badlands, Redbird among others.

Any questions PM me.

Did you make it up there? Any pics? Didn't know if the rain messed with your schedule at all.

If anything the rain would have helped! But no, we had to move my brother out of his place because of some mold issues and I spent the rest of the time packing for school.

Hahahahahha!!!!! It is a great little Off Road Park. Keep dreaming and schooling and before you know it, you will be back home ripping through these great Indiana trails. And who knows, with all that schooling, you might be able to afford to hire me as a your very own trail master or Jeep advisor or something!!!!

I've yet to test out the general 33s so it's killing me to see how they can do! If all goes well with a test this week I'm rewarding myself by outfitting Allie with a new PS stinger, 2.5 inch lift and 50 inch light bar. I'll post some pics in the coming weeks once I get it all sprayed and installed.

Maybe I could use my eventual MechE degree to charter a new Made in America jeep outfitting company. You could easily satisfy the criteria for position of "Trail Master" and "Chief Limit Pusher" Dawg. You just take it out and try to break it and whether it survives or breaks determines if we market it or redesign.
