For those attending the kessie jeep farm wheelin event March 28th, some other members and I were tossing around the idea of doing a meet and greet the Friday night before in Fort Wayne. If your interested post up, and we can choose a place to eat..
Is this worth the drive (2.5-3 hrs)? I looked it up on FB but didn't see too many pics. Mostly wooded trails? Hill climbs? Mud bogs? I usually skip the deep mud. Don't like cleaning that much.
Club's going to Badlands in April. I've never heard of Kessies, not sure if same type of terrain? FB pics don't show much. You guys interested in another forum member joining you?
I'll think about it this week and decide before next weekend. Might be fun. My Jeep is similar to the last pic. 06TJ with 4" lift and 33" mud tires. Seems to do well in the woods so far.
I've been out in the woods enough I'm not worried about getting stuck. I just wanted to make sure its more fun than driving around a flat farm field. I grew up on a small farm and have some experience in the mud, but it was pretty flat. I like driving through the woods and some hill climbs.
Mines got 105,000 miles on the D35 with 33s... Prior owners never took it off road for the first 70,000 miles but I've had it offroad 20-25 times in the last 2.5 years (35,000 miles).
I have a pic of my XJ rolling it. Right at 200,000(0)
