Totalled '14 JKU Sahara

Going to try to slip around and use the Forum......I got in an accident in the '14 JKU Sahara...I am going to replace it with another JKU in Hydro (the Blue for this year) anyone know of any on the lot close to them?

Have tried searching and/ build your own the Jeep website and not having much luck...anybody seen one?

MY dealer said he found 3 in Detroit..now lets see if he can get them to release one......Thanks for finding those I may wait a day or 2 and see what happens.

Its official the'14 JKU was totalled by Body Shop

I read your post on one of the other forums, and as soon as you mentioned the damage to the powertrain I knew they would total it

Yeah it was a no brainer to me just looking at it...but gotta dot the"i's and cross the t's" but so far so good....also found out that the other driver did have a valid insurance card and coverage.....I was sweatin' that one so many times people don't have coverage any more......

Here is what I Know and what happened after......I got hit....Jeep was still running and limping forward after hit. There was a "fan into the shroud" type of noise going on, I put my foot on the brake and Jeep stopped. I turned the key and shut it off.

I went and saw it at the "tow yard" out on Cass st. That is when pics were taken. It would still start and no idiot lights after running, however, still fan shroud noise.

When ODZ body shop got it, they "one lined it", immediately said "total loss" not worth repairing. Never opened the hood, or anything else. I don't think they got closer than 5 feet.

When I talked to one of them later they said block was probably broke/ engine mounts the way things were twisted. I do know the EMT's and Police said it appeared to have lost all oil and coolant....IDK would think idiot lights would be on when running.....unless that all got disconnected?
