Getting New Tires!

Okay!! I am getting new tires on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport, and I don't need top of the line tires. I currently have 30x9.5.x15's on it. Right now...cost is very important to me, but I'm not putting junk on my Jeep either!! My question is this...Does anyone have any recommendations for new tires, I have been doing extensive research, and I am leaning towards the Falken Wild Peak A/T tires. From the information that I am gathering, those Falken's are getting great reviews, however...I am open to other suggestions. I was considering going to the 31x10.5x15's, but it will throw off my speedometer/odometer. Not really stoked about that. I would really appreciate any input I can get...Thanks...

I just got a set of them. (The 31x10.5x15's) So far, so good! Nice looking tire and immediately -- and I mean IMMEDIATELY -- I could tell they were a smooth ride on the pavement. Very quiet and very, very smooth.
We got a bunch of snow in my neck of the woods last night (convenient time to upgrade the rubber, eh? ) and they've performed very well on snow-packed roads. They have a very confident grip and very good stopping power.
They get my vote. I'm very happy with the purchase.
And FYI, I too, had the 30x9.5's before these. My suspension is still stock and they fit nicely, and look much, much better.

That is awesome!! It was like night and day in terms of ride quality!! It was like driving a new vehicle!! Like I said before...I think these Falkens are a "Dark Horse" in the tire world. I'm going to have to adjust the steering stop with a 5/8" washer, or two because I get a rub on really tight turning!! Have you tried to make really tight turns? If may want to. It's an exremely un-settling noise. Gonna try and do it today!! BTW...Nice lookin' Jeep!!...\m/ \m/
