Sorry for the late response - just saw the thread after seeing TJ reply to another of my threads & checking his profile out. If there's a place in Vermillion or Peninsula that we can wheel at legally I'd love to know! I'm a member of Lake County Offroad and we hit a place near Jefferson called Pine Lake, and, of course, Southington Offroad in Windham (near Mantua). Hoping to find something closer tho for when the mood strikes
I'm from Willowick myself, but mostly live in Medina these days. Definitely up for a meetup sometime with any/all of ya

I think the place in Vermilion is off of Baumhart (sp) Rd. Heard a lot of guys go out there to wheel.

That would be really close to my place. I'll have to try to find it. Have you been?

What sucks about vermillion that the trails get narrow and the property is not cared for. In my opinion it is more geared for dirtbikes. I will go if anyone wants to as it has been along time since ive been there

I grew up real close to there. Never heard of offroading by the ford plant. There is the dirtbike course a few miles away from there near baumhart and cooper foster.

When you get off highway turn right on Baumhart road and its basically on the left side. There is rairoad tracks that run up the hill next to it

I won't be able to make it out this weekend. But hopefully at some point. Anyone else interested in the poker run?
