I wouldn't say deeper pockets. I have bought most of my mods used. Over the last almost two years.

I'm just saying I've seen a lot of things get broken in the rocks. I do a little bit of rocky rolling, but I really just love being outside in the woods. Lots of hills here in Western PA, tons of mud...

I hate washing the mud. Any tips for when it does happen? How the hell do I get it off? It seems to stain the top. Takes many washings. Lol. Here we don't get much mud. But there is that occasion. And I usually bitch about it. And my guys being the men they are lol. Have tried boxing me in, tricking me, ect. Cause they know lol I hate washing off the mud. I will avoid it if possible.

Mild detergent and a scrub brush for the top. Bleche White for the tires. As for underneath, use a garden sprinkler that uses the rainbow spray pattern. Trust me, its more difficult to get out of the interior. I still have mud on the inside from Labor Day weekend!

Labor Day? Lol. I am more picky about the inside. Although one oft friends that I was out with yesterday told me my engine area was dirty. One of my other friends made me clean it before a meeting. Lol. I just wanna be able to get in and out with out my clothes getting dirty. Or turning on the heat or ac and getting a face filled with dust

Oh mine's not that bad. The seatbelts and the nerf sleeve on the roll cage have some speckles. I have neoprene seat covers so that clean up was easy. I use diluted simple green on and around the engine.

After Joshua tree trip Saturday the dust was so bad I had to knock the air filter off before I could drive two hours home. Mostly loose dust here. And we are in a drout so not much mud at all. I saw a lot of ruts yesterday caused my some rains we had last month. Made the trail a little interesting. But mud. And I have some degreaser I used and hosed the engine area today. Tomorrow I will bare our 75 degree weather and finish the washing lol

So many choices! Long arm vs. short arm, 33s or 35s, what brand, plus I have to keep her street legal (enough) for PA inspection. I'm also thinking of saving up my pennies for a Dana 44 rear end. Then there's regearing and lockers...good thing I'm single. Frees up a lot of time and money!

Didn't change the arms. Just mostly could and shocks and such. It all works for me and not a lot of money spent. I did put the poison spider sliders on due to the rocks. Still need to get some under skids.

I'm leaning towards a Rock Krawler 3.5" X-Factor short arm kit and 33s. 35s are a bit much for my Dana 35 and a Dana 44 plus regear is really not in the budget. I'm running 31s now and I feel like I need just a little bit more tire. Sometimes I wonder why I pick such expensive addictions for my hobbies!

Just as you're trying to find a Jeep guy, I'm still looking for my Jeep girl. I'd settle for an outdoorsy chick.

Lol that funny cause it was my ex bf that told me to find a hobby. He liked his video games and beer. So I did. He said I cared for about trails, jeep family, jeep, the forum, blah blah blah than I did for or about him.

I don't like mud as well it ruins bearings ect. So I went rocks and it's much more challenging to me and don't have to spend hours cleaning it. As for a way to keep mud from sticking so bad I tried everything from tire foam to wd40 with no luck.
