I use to do the utility trails in Solon then figured it went through private property. Gonna see what I can do, cause I use to live in Solon but moved to Aurora. Stuck with my parents.

Plenty of trail rides coming up. For the guys new to offroading or haven't been out yet you can check out Southington Offroad. It's located just outside of Garrettsville. I believe they have a FB page and a website under the same name. They are tuned into the noobie crowd, but they also have stuff for the more advanced rigs.

When you're ready to step up check out the ride schedule on NEO4x4.com. We have lots of fun and like the Marines we leave no man behind.

i used to do the utility roads on 91 in Solon on my bike. a couple of them go back really far.

the only thing i do now is one i found in Hudson, its really muddy, and there are pools of water. i just discovered it branches off so im going to follow it on sat and see where it goes. Its in the trees so no way to look it up on google maps. i would be more confident if i didnt have these snow tires on, they suck in the mud.

I figured out by Solon pd that off Roading off by som is actually illegal cause it goes through privet property. I'm gonna figure a way around it since I had surgery so I'm gonna be calling people to figure out a way Jeep owners can have fun.

I was wondering where the place in Hudson is. Because I have been looking for a place and saw you guys talking about this place and I dont live far from Hudson. Is It legal to go to this place? I am new to offroading but would like to learn so if you could show me where it is it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hey sorry, i actually just got back from there , i took the path i found and it was really fun. there is about a foot of mud at one part where a stream runs through, and there is also some fallen trees that you have to go over. very easy stuff and a lot of fun. but the trail is not a walking path, nor is it a way to get to it if this makes sense. you are not going to see people walking where you will be driving.

about it being legal? i think it is. it runs back to a railway, and at the end it said no motor vehicles past this point, and on the other side i think there is a path for people to walk but i am not sure? also on my way out one time a service city truck went back there, i just pulled of to the side, and he waved as he went by.

^ however if you get caught i am not responsible

that being said i don't no how to mark a spot on google maps , when i figure it out i will post a link

Ok thanks that sounds cool. I am very familular with that area and used to live really close to there. I may go and check it out sometime this week! I may even see you there since it seems that you go to that trail quite a bit. If you find any other trails let me know and if I find any more I will be sure to let all of you guys know. It seems from the map that there is a oil well back there along the trail. Did you cross the railroad tracks?

no. not risking getting stuck and losing a vehicle or life. right before the tracks there is an opening which takes you even farther (southwest). that is where the mud is and the trees you have to cross.if you were to go back there you would see where i went because of the big ruts., you cant see it on Google maps tho, because it is covered by trees. if your near by, let me know and we can go, but it is easy to conquer by yourself. just stay in 4wd, i only got stuck when i was in 2wd.

Ok thanks very much. Yeah I forgot that to cross the railroad tracks there would be no ramp to get you on the tracks so more than likley, you would be literally climbing the tracks, which is not what im looking for. Yeah, this seems like a pretty cool place and seems like it goes very far into the woods. Cant wait to check it out next time im around town. If im drilling you with too many questions by all means let me know. But, is it a dirt road or gravell road that leads to all of the paths? Do you think I will be fine with All terrain tires? Thanks.

Not sure of Warren specifically, but you're close to southington offroad. I'd mention a few others, but you don't want to get stuck with your girl or go alone.
