360 in a yj help

I have an 88 yj had a 4.2/tf999, installed 75 amc 360 kept the 999 and conveter, used 360 flexplate everything bolts up great. My problem is that I keep breaking the front pump (2). Its starting to get expensive, Does anyone know why this keeps happening

You will get more traffic in this thread if you post in either the YJ or CJ section. Sorry, I don't know enough about this swap combination to be any help.

Also, you may want to post when you are breaking the pump(s). Is it on first start-up, or are you putting 10,000 miles on...?

Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!
