I usually dont post on this forum but I have a small group of about 5-6 going to Bundy Hill on the 15th. Getting to the gates at about 10:30a. For those who havent been, Bundy Hill is quite stock friendly and offers a little bit of everything. Departing from metro Detroit area at 9am and will be convoying from Schoolcraft College (Haggerty Rd South of 7 Mile) in Livonia. There is something called the Pit Trash Shootout happening the same day at Bundy so there may be something to watch in additional to wheeling.
We are interested in going.....I noticed everyone in the pics have flags....is it required? and how would I go about securing one to the front? Kit of some sort? any help would be great, thanks

Hey guys thanks for the interest. Everyone is invited. I dont belong to a club but like most of you already know there is the unofficial social club that is wrangler owners. The flags are required and have separate requirements for MI state marks like silver lakes. If you buy one of Bundys flags it will not fly in MI parks but MI park flags will be ok at Bundy. If you dont want to buy a mounting bracket then zip ties work well. At bundy you can mount it front or back.
The park is pretty stock friendly and it always amazes me to see what the stock wrangler will get through. If this is the first time going to a park of sorts this is a great one to jump into. If nothing else it usually gets the ball rolling on draining your bank account to make room for the next bigger better part.
They usually have a hot dog mobile out there for lunch but other than that there isnt else around.
If you plan on airing down there is an air compressor on sight for free use. I think there is anough recovery equipment to go around so if you dont have any dont sweat it.
Would love to see some new faces. Schoolcraft North lot (Haggerty just South of 7 Mile Rd) will be the meet location. Aim for 9am and leave the lot by 9:10 which puts us at the park at 10:30. For you guys that are already West of the metro area you can jump in on the way or meet us at the gate. Any questions please feel free to call me 248-703-9217.
Dan,We will be there tomm, hopefully when you guys get there.I have your number, might give you a call in the A.M.,maybe we can meet in route,as we are coming from Howell. If not,we are in a 2012 Orange 4 door JK......and thanks again for all of the info.....Dean 586-431-3333
Awesome to hear youre coming I think you make the sixth confirmed person going. So far all JKs. Not sure how built the others are. One is bone stock, One is a mild sport built. Others are unknown.
I only took a couple photos while I was there. The photographer should be putting them up soon enough. The pit trash shootout had its pros and cons. Mostly cons. They blocked off a lot of trails. It was nice seeing somebody seemingly destroying their vehicles for a free t shirt. It also brought out some skanky looking strippers.
And after the wash I have some new texture on the rear flares
It was good to meet you guys also.....Melissa had a blast, she cant wait to go again......as far as im concerned,4 wheelin has just replaced snowmobiling lol...im hooked....please let us know whats next...ttyl
Im in...please get a hold of us....586-431-3333...dpgmotorsports@yahoo.com....and if you have any pics from the weekend, can u send them to me somehow, and thanks again
Yeah I'm gonna run it till she completely goes boom. She's getting a ton of blow by through the dip stick and the oils milky. Probably a cracked head and gasket
Won't make it either, clutch is going out it moves but I need to save it in case I take it some where.
