Good clubs? You will have to decide for yourself, but I think we are a good club

We meet at All Stars Sports bar in Burton on the first Sunday of the month. 5pm social hour/dinner, meeting at 6pm.

First Sunday of the month, unless we get bumped by Superbowl or a holiday, then we move it back a week. June 2 would be our next meeting.

I am not sure about All Star's policy about unescorted minors - I am not sure if you will need a parent along, you might want to give them a call before you make the trip.

We are little east of you, centered in Mayville. We allow minors, if your parent or guardian signs a waiver of liability for any ThumbJeeps events.

Cool - with the rock crawl area at the mostorsport area, a couple of fun trails (fun meaning not serious or technical) and miles of open state forest roads, there is enough to stay busy for a whole day up there. I think most of the group is planning on a day trip, we are heading up Friday night to camp for the weekend somewhere close.

I know there is "we got mud" near flint. They go to the mounds a lot. I have wheeled a few sundays with them and they are pretty cool. Not a jeep specific club tho.

Old thread, but I might have to come checkout a Sunday meet with What Lies Beneath.

Just bought my first jeep a couple weeks ago, a 2011 JK 2 door. I've always been a car guy(Monte Carlo, a couple Grand Prixes(one built that I did a topswap on), and a 2013 Regal Turbo)... so the jeep is something new to me, and I love it.

The Jeep came with the rims+tires and front bumper... I threw an old eXcelon radio I had in it and some 55w HID's to replace the stock headlights. The Jeep won't be getting a big stereo... but I was a mobile electronics installer for for five years during my undergrad for Duke's in Saginaw and Circuit City for a few years before that. Sadly I no longer am an installer, but at least my bank account looks better now.

Ohh yah... here is the jeep I bought:

Be sure to check out Great Lakes 4x4 Message Board for local off-roading info. There are several clubs in the area to choose from depending on what you're looking for.
