jeep blessing is an awesome event, really cool give aways, they have courses set up for everything from mild builds all the way to crazy wild stuff. really good time. we(ORJ - OFFROADJEEPERS) wheel across michigan all the time, you should come out with us some time. usually its 2-3 hours from macomb county area to a good wheelin spot. I drive from shelby township.

That's something I need to look into then, I've been searching around for clubs for a long time but all the ones I have found were just mud bogging, jeep people who were just tearing up there vehicles. Thanks for the info!

Orj is a great group I have wheeled with a number of them and if your in that area be sire to check them out. If your not close to them you can also check out michigan jeepers on facebook. We are spread thru out the state.
Don't take this as try to poach from them. Like I said I know those guys and they are a great group and soon hope to get both groups together for an event.

Maybe there should be a sticky for group outings in Michigan regardless if affiliation. I thought it would be a good ideas to have all the events in one location. I could be wrong tho haha

ORJ is a great group. We wheel with them all the time and they do alot of our club runs also. We started really mixing the runs between clubs last year with them.

Next place I am going is to jeep blessing. And then we wheel at twisted trails after. Thumbjeeps, orj, and michigan jeepers have all talked about doing events together this year. Places are twisted trails, the mounds, rocks and valleys, bundy hill, st helen motoraporta area, silver lake dunes

Wow that's great, I really need to get into a group, it seems like a blast to be able to go around Michigan (and other states) with a club. I just wish their meet up zones for meet and greets were a little closer.

Have you looked into the Blue Water Jeep Owners? Based in the Port Huron area, big group, lots of members and lots of activities. I went out to their annual picnic/business meeting a couple of weeks ago, they had 30+ Jeeps there.

Michigan jeepers, blue water jeep owners assoc, orj, thumb jeeps, rough and ready, dirty minds, two trackers, mud sweat and gears, what lies beyond, Cadillac jeepers, this is off the top of my head I know there is one in the southeast area and one to do with trolls just can't think of them. I know I'm missing some. Look at glfwda website too

The JKUR10A finally was delivered and this weekend I took the Jeep out around Metro Detroit to just have some fun with my fiancee and to see if we could find any dirt roads and good things to see what its like to flex the Jeep. Well I started small, but worked up to a bigger flex and its so fun! I should have got a Jeep a long time ago!

Testing out a medium sized rock

Next was on a embankment

And the third thing was another embankment that really flexed it out

Looking out over the hood

And a few cool shots of it near a boat dock

Lookin good! I need to find a local place so I can have a little fun without having to drive 2 hours. I still remember the first time I ever flexed out... My girl friend gets out of the jeep and was like "Your tires look weird." I was in awe. Hopefully I'll see your 10A around, it looks great!

For sure man! Shoot me a PM if you ever wanna meet up this summer! Me and my fiancee are always cruising around. We are out at 14 and Ryan but I cruise all over in the car or jeep. Sonic is also a fun place to grab some food and chat!

Hey guys, looks like the last post here was a few months ago but I'm new to the forum (and Jeeps) so I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring too. I live in Sterling Heights and drive to Southfield for work. I've noticed LOTS of soccer mom jeeps who don't seem to get it. I have noticed a few that are on board. I have been riding a motorcycle for years so I totally get the waving thing. I'd love to join the next event. How far in advance are they normally scheduled?

Welcome to the forum and welcome to Jeeps!

There are lots of jeep clubs in the area and I have been told they are all cool with non members participating in their events. I haven't had time to really do any yet tho. Just search em out and post a hello on their message board.
